Accessibility

Last reviewed: 25 October 2026

Live613 is for everyone, so we want every teaching to be easy to read, watch and hear, whatever device you use and however you use it. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Accessibility options on this site

Every page has an accessibility button in the bottom-left corner. It lets you:

  • make the text larger or smaller,
  • switch to a dyslexia-friendly font,
  • add more spacing between letters, words and lines,
  • turn on high contrast,
  • highlight links, and
  • reduce motion and animation.

Your choices are remembered on this device as you move between pages.

What we do

  • Most audio and video teachings also have their words on the page, so you can read along or read instead.
  • AI-narrated audio is always clearly labelled.
  • Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Menus, buttons, drop-down questions and carousels can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
  • Text and buttons are designed for clear contrast against the background.
  • We mark Hebrew text as Hebrew so screen readers can handle it correctly, and we're adding this to older teachings.

Known limitations

  • Some downloadable PDF handouts may not be fully accessible. The same teaching is always available as text on its web page.
  • Pages that link to other websites, such as fundraising or registration pages, are run by others and may not meet the same standard.

Tell us about a problem

If something on Live613 is hard to use, or you need a teaching in a different format, please email [email protected] or let us know through the Connect page and choose "Accessibility." Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we'll do our best to fix it or send you the teaching another way.
