Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Live613 is the teaching website of Rabbi Shlomo Fuchs in London. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Live613 and Rabbi Shlomo Fuchs, who is responsible for your information.
What we collect
- When you contact us through the Connect page: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the topic you choose and your message.
- When you join the mailing list (in the footer of any page, or by ticking the box on the Connect page): your email address, and your name and phone number if you give them.
- When you ask to learn in person or RSVP to an event: the details you send us, so Rabbi Fuchs can get back to you.
- When you visit the site: our hosting and security services keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we do not sell your information.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and help with your question.
- To send the mailing list, only if you have asked to join it.
- To arrange in-person learning and events, and to keep those gatherings safe. This is why venues are shared privately when you RSVP rather than published online.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), we rely on your consent for the mailing list, and on our legitimate interests in answering the messages people send us, running events safely and protecting this website.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site, and only for the purposes above:
- SEMPITE, which builds and hosts this website and manages the contact and mailing list records on our behalf.
- Resend, which delivers our emails.
- Cloudflare, which helps deliver the website quickly and securely.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law.
If a page links to another website (for example a fundraising page or an event registration page run by someone else), that website's own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to help you and to keep a sensible record of our conversation. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time; every email tells you how. You also have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent.
To make a request, email Rabbi Fuchs at [email protected], or send a note through the Connect page and choose "Privacy or data request."
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is not designed to collect information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
